The Magnify Fast Movers

The Magnify Fast Movers - what's going on.

Hey gang,  thought i'd take a sec to share with you some news that should give channel owners some insights into how some channels are
growing fast - and what you can do to accelerate growth.

We've been noticing that membership and pageview growth go hand in hand.   This isn't surprising,  but it is exciting.  Channels like Skeewee.tv  are  serving a user base that has a shared set of interests and a shared set of stories.  Skeewee describes itself as: "SkeeWeeTV.com is a video community that features video from the ladies of the Nations first sorority of color".  They launched just 90 days ago and they're already at 1,346 members.   What's great about skeewee is that members share with other members,  and spread the word.  So as the channel admin,  you don't have to do all the work of trying to go out and create buzz and traffic - each new members seems to bring a few new ones with them.  This is very much like the facebook phenomenon we're seeing in the social space,  and catching on to this is important.  If your channel isn't a...

Magnify has an embeddable video player. About time. While Magnify has done a good job of creating easily-formed groups around certain content, and has spent the past few months extending the ability to better customize and skin your own Magnify network, the embeddable video player is probably one of the best new features Magnify has had in the past few months.

Now, user-curated content can be s...

Was it the crowd?  A wonderful group,  but no secrets here.  Was it the Ping Pong Table...nope,  standard west-cost issue leisure gear.  Was it the bar?  Well stocked,  but not spectacular.  So - what could it be?  Then,  I searched a back hallway looking for the secret.  It was there - in one of the back rooms that the caterers had set up that I found the secret that Google doesn't want you to know.
