Magnify is built on the philosophy that people who create videos want to share their stories with other people -- but different creators approach the process of sharing in different ways.

Some video creators want to be paid for their work, such as those who sell videos through Google or earn ad shares through Revver, while others give their videos away for free, like those who post to YouTube. Likewise, some video creators strictly control uses of their video, while others allow people to copy or modify it. (And these distinctions are still being refined -- for example, Revver videos may be copied freely but the creators still get paid.)

Magnify embraces all of these distribution mechanisms, and looks forward to the others that will surely evolve in the years ahead.
