Sending Invitations

Q: “I'd like to invite people to view my new channel. Is there an easy way to do that?”

Absolutely. We don't support spamming, but maybe you'd like to let your friends know about your channel or send an announcement out to your members about a new feature. Look under the Account tab of the admin navigation panel in the Users area for either the Send Email Invitations to Tell People About this Site or the Send Email Announcement to Channel Members links.

If you select the Send Email Announcement to Channel Members link, just fill in the subject and message areas and click send to email your entire membership.

If you want to Send Email Invitations to Tell People About this Site, the subject and the message will be filled in for you, although you can add to the message, but you;ll need to enter the email addresses of the people you're emailing. You can either enter them manually or by using the Upload Address Book link.
